Tunisian Band Flapper Cloche

I made this hat to wear to my very dear friend’s wedding.

I used wonderfully, slippery ribbon with fine, black cotton chenille! Oooooh the loveliness. It looks better on me than Ms.Nonose…(she had to have a papier mache job done to her face because when my son was four he “ate” her nose.”)

I did the band first, sewed it together, worked the crown, then the brim… Of course I do all of my hats, except tams, like that!

Fun project.
