Irish Rose Shawl Motif Two

This is one more motif from the Harmony Guide to Crochet 220 more stitches. I like this one better. I changed the last round to suit the needs of a shawl.

I wasn’t sure I liked the yarn for this pattern, but I’ve changed my mind after looking at the scanned image. I think the stitch work will show up fine if I can get my buddy, Bec Thomas to take the photos of the finished article.

The mohair will bloom beautifully as the piece is worn, it will be warm enough to wear on a cool spring or summer night, and not too warm for an indoor christmas fete 🙂

Would be beautiful in white and gold though…still contemplating.
