This is one more motif from the Harmony Guide to Crochet 220 more stitches. I like this one better. I changed the last round to suit the needs of a shawl.
I wasn’t sure I liked the yarn for this pattern, but I’ve changed my mind after looking at the scanned image. I think the stitch work will show up fine if I can get my buddy, Bec Thomas to take the photos of the finished article.
The mohair will bloom beautifully as the piece is worn, it will be warm enough to wear on a cool spring or summer night, and not too warm for an indoor christmas fete
Would be beautiful in white and gold though…still contemplating.

Well, if you look up at the tabs at the top of the blog, you will notice some page headings. Please feel free to click around! The competition is still on, and you could win some of my YUMMY handspun and designer yarn.
You will also note, a new page with an Irish Crochet Rose Pattern. These are SO SIMPLE to make it’s criminal. My daughter just learned how and is a rose making machine.
It doesn’t even have to be lace weight. Recently I used a lovely silk ribbon, to make a bulkier rose as an adornment on her cape!
So if you’ve always wanted to make one, here’s your chance!
