Ravelrouser Spinning Group Meets Nov. 17 Stanwood, WA

Posted by camanomade on November 12, 2007

If you are in the Stanwood area, or willing to drive there, the first meeting of the Ravelrouser Spinning Group (ALL fiber artists welcome, all people interested in what we do welcome).

It costs nothing to join, or participate. However we are potlucking it…bring something you would like to share.

We will meet at the Christian Lighthouse Fellowship in Stanwood, WA at 4pm. The group meets until 7pm.

It will be a grand old time, new or advanced, want to learn, just want to sit and watch! You are welcome. This is a great excuse to get together, chat, and get some projects done!

Young one’s are welcome to attend, however we ask that you understand children must be watched by their parent/adult. Kids touching wheels is not tolerated unless they’ve been invited to do by the owner of the wheel. (Actually, not just kids, adults too…don’t touch another person’s wheel without permission…it’s just courtesy…these are our tools).

Other than that we’re a hoot! My daughter just made a drop spindle on hubby’s lathe, so there will be one extra wheel and drop spindle for newbies.

If you wish to attend and have questions or need directions, please email me.

Check out our store and keep checking in from time to time, right now I’m compiling a list of crochet friendly stores. If you know of one in your area (or you own one even better), let us know, I’m making a page just for that information!
